Hey guys, welcome to my third blog. In this blog, we will talk about the next three episodes of the Anime in terms of the course. Given the lack of time for an Anime, it tried to cover the Novel as much as possible.  I would like to say that these three episodes(4th,5th, and 6th) were very loyal to the Novel compared to the first three episodes.   I say this based on the following events: Small facts like the fight between Sudou and three class C students that took place in the Special Building. The whole scene where Ayanokouji helps Ichinose with the confession she received was exactly the same as described in the Light Novel. The scenario where Ayanokouji, Kushida, and Sakura goes to a mall for camera repair and the events that occur there was precisely the same as in the Novel. The POV of the Novel is neither Omniscient nor Omnipresent as the main character himself talks in the first person whereas, in Anime, we can say that the camera ...

Hey guys. I welcome you all to the second Blog of my assignment. Here I am going to discuss intertextuality and Anime's aesthetics. Intertextuality - Adaptation with multiple source texts. Every episode starts with a quote that was taken from other sources as these quotes are nowhere to be seen in the Light Novel. For example, The first aesthetic we are going to talk about in the adaptation n is the Anime's visuals, to tell you, in short, Marvellous. The Anime was released in 2017, were in the Anime Industry has grown very much compared to the one released in 2000. Coming to the audio, I just love the opening and closing songs of this Anime, and I never miss them, which was not the case with other Animes I have watched. Some special effects such as: Camera angles while closing the door and opening the bag zip.     The non-diegetic sound of a bell at the start of every episode. The intense background music when there is a turning point or some interesting fact is reveale...

Hey guys, I welcome you all to my blog. I am writing this blog as part of my Cinematic Adaptation assignment, and I will be writing about one of my favorite Anime (Adaptation of a Light Novel) and talk about it in terms of this course.   Let's first discuss fidelity. After watching three episodes and reading an overwhelming 264 pages of the Novel, I would say that the Anime is not entirely loyal to the Novel; for example, Ayanokouji's (protagonist) personality was showed and described differently. In the Novel, Ayanokouji was portrayed as more of an ordinary guy. I'm saying this based on actions like smiling, desperate efforts in making friends, and wiping palms on pants before shaking hands with Kushida. On the contrary, the Anime didn't show any such actions. The narrative position in the Novel was in the first person (Ayanokouji), but the Anime was in the third person view.  However, in certain ways, the Anime was loyal to the Novel; for example, few scenes li...
